The Rite

None can enter the kingdom of heaven, except she be regenerate and born anew of water and of the Holy Ghost.

Annunciation: You are blessed now with the courage to go forward. Listen as you are touched with a loving presence, for this presence opens your heart. You are loved for who you are. Remember this, for all has been forgiven. Know you are loved and live from this loving.

The Sacrament: Baptism
Godmother: silver with emerald

The Godmother in attendance, is willing to undertake the Profession of Faith in the child's name. The Godmother is a living witness to her own faith and is, within reason, available to the child on a regular basis. By the ceremonial honouring of painstaking detail, the child is clothed in the courage and grace that she needs, to grow into her own faith.

The Sacrament: Confirmation

Confirmation may be ministered for the edifying of such as shall receive it. The child, being now come to the years of discretion, and having learned what the Godmother promised for her in Baptism, may herself, with her own mouth and consent, confirm the same. And also promise, that by grace, she will evermore endeavour herself, faithfully to observe such things, as she, by her own confession, has assented unto.

Grace: Ongoing still

Stirred by longing and undertaken in faith, this Rite paints me the grace to enter a process of transformation towards a conscious state of being. In honouring such a leap, I uphold my own faith, and reach heaven as my rite to live fully and my rite to be an Artist.
